Job description :
We are looking for an Industrial Field Technician to support the development of our Industrial Engineering Team, responsible for hardware and special vision system machines.
The Industrial Field Technician will be responsible for ensuring installation, maintenance, and electromechanical troubleshooting of EDGYN machines and systems for clients in France and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Installations at Client Sites:
- Electrical and mechanical hardware installation directly with the client on-site
- Final setup and integration with client systems
- Test protocol execution and validation with the client
- Training for operators, maintenance technicians, and supervisors
- Feedback collection for continuous improvement
2. System Maintenance at Client Sites:
- Maintenance planning with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintenance organization in direct contact with clients
- Internal team coordination
- Maintenance execution (electromechanical, optical, automation, IT & network) with remote support
- Maintenance reports and feedback
3. Participation in internal design, assembly, and validation of systems and shipment preparation
4. Troubleshooting and support for industrial systems
5. Site audits for system implementation
6. Internal maintenance (test benches, buildings, vehicles, tools) and control (measuring tools, tool safety)
Your profile:
- At least 3 years of experience in industrial installation/maintenance (mandatory), ideally in manufacturing (packaging, pharma, beverages, …)
- Willingness to travel: available for regular travel in France & abroad + driver’s licence (B) required
- Ease in speaking with different stakeholders / good communication, and client relations
- Language Skills: English proficiency: comfortable in spoken and written English + familiar with technical electromechanical vocabulary, fluent in French
- Degree BAC +2 in electrotechnics/electrical, and Electrical certification if possible
