Job description :
We are looking for an account executive to support our growth and the development of our customers base, especially in our digital solutions.
The Account Executive will be responsible for both growing EDGYN’s footprint and revenues on existing Key Accounts, especially in the Cosmetics industry, and for closing sales opportunities with new Customers. The ideal candidate will possess both a technical and sales background that enables her/him to successfully build and maintain relationships, advise customers on EDGYN’s solutions, expand our footprint to new business units and/or new customers and close contracts.
Your missions :
Existing Key accounts
- Identify, manage, and close upselling (new products) and cross-selling (new divisions/brands) opportunities
- Manage contract renewal negotiations
- Network within existing accounts by unlocking contacts across new departments/divisions as well as referrals to expand our reach.
New business
Manage sales leads/opportunities
- Drive engagements with prospective customers by becoming a trusted advisor and owning the customer’s success during the sales process
- Understand and uncover customer business/technical challenges
- Communicate EDGYN technical differentiation and the technical value proposition
- Coordinate company-wide resources to drive technical engagements forward and provide answers/guidance to customer’s questions
- Create professional business proposals in conjunction with Product and Engineering teams, including costing and pricing
- Structure, negotiate, and close complex sales agreements, often requiring financial acumen, legal expertise & ability to respond to procurement processes.
What we are looking for / You may be a good fit for the team if you have or are:
- At least 5 years of experience as a key account executive/manager, customer success manager, or program/project manager, + experience (if possible) in key account development
- Working knowledge and experience of traceability and/or brand protection, as project manager or sales/account executive
- Prior experience in the cosmetics, beauty, and life science industry is a plus
- Strong believer in your mission, strong enthusiasm, with a drive to make yourself, EDGYN, and our customers successful
- Creative and consultative selling approach with advanced closing skills
- Ease in speaking to stakeholders at all levels and various departments: from business executives, IT, Security, Financial team, to factory and maintenance managers.
- Entrepreneurial: comfortable working in a dynamic environment and addressing the commercial, technical, financial, and legal aspects of customer relationships
- Tech-enthusiast, eager to learn to develop rapidly strong expertise in our solutions and markets
- Fluent in English, with strong written and oral presentation skills (experience for/in an international company)
For this position, we are hiring
Europe (the capacity to be in Paris and in big European cities easily)
